For years I always wanted to climb to the top of something great, Sitting at 14,433 feet Mount Elbert is the highest peak in the Rockies. 9 miles to the summit the Northeast ridge is one of the easiest routs to the summit and this is just one of the panoramic’s just about to the summit. At 12000 feet the trees and woods end and it is all open to the elements. No cover from rain, hail, storms, wind, nothing. Beautiful scenery and 360* view of the world below. After that initial view the first time I have had to go back and make the journey to the summit for the past 3 years after that. There is something that overcomes you once you are there and realize the significance of being in the thin oxygen deprived air that lets you really feel good about yourself and enjoying the view.

Shooting at the EPC Classic Car Fest in St. Charles MO I caught this Alpine White BMW M3 with very light drizzle. That year was a good year for the Carfest and crew with a great turnout. Even though people knew rain was on the way for a slight chance at some spotty showers, EPC still pushed for a great turnout and a great year for the Carfest as usual for the 11th year in a row!!!. After hiking all day around Bryce, I setup for some evening timelapses. I have to admit, Bryce Canyon has provided some of the best images and panoramics. Something Magical about this place and the way that the light comes across the valley just is mesmerizing.
Lightning Storm at Arches national Park in Utah. After driving around all day and hiking to Delicate Arch, I was on the way back to the truck and saw the storm moving in. Driving out of the valley I couldn’t resist stopping and getting this magnificent storm across the valley.
